The Golden Rule

This session  Megan gave a few questions about The Golden Rule. The questions are:

  1. What is the Golden Rule?
  2. The Golden Rule is a maxim, ethical code, or morality that essentially states either of the fallowing: - One should theat others as one would like others to treat oneself (positive form) - One should not treat others in ways that one would not like to be treated (negative/ prohibite form, also called the Silver Rule)
  3. Why is the Golden Rule important to discussing human right? Because the Golden Rule is arguably the most essential basis for the modern concept of human right.
  4. In which culture can we find the Golden Rule? The Golden Rule was present in philosophers of ancient Babylon, Egypt, Persia, India, Greece, Judea and China..
  5. Why do we have to respect the Golden Rule? Because if you don't respect the Golden Rule the people don't respect you.
  6. Is it necessary to belong to religion in order to fallow  the Golden Rule? No, it isn't.
