Distintos puntos de vista

Al comienzo de esta sesión le hicimos saber al maestro que no estamos de acuerdo con la cantidad de trabajo que tenemos que realizar sobre la asignatura de ética. Ya que muchos de ellos los hace llamar "voluntarios" pero sin los cuales no puedes sacar una nota alta como un nueve por ejemplo.
A continuación de tanta discusión para nada, nos pusimos a trabajar con el libro "The Human Rights".

Generación Bunker

Este trabajo consistía en leer una entrada en la que hay un artículo sobre la Generación Bunker. Conocemos como Generación Bunker a la generaciones nuevas que pasan horas y horas delante de la pantalla de aparatos electrónicos, bien ordenadores, televisión o videoconsolas, y que se aísla del resto de la sociedad.
Realizamos una series de preguntas y actividades que trataban sobre el artículo, además dar nuestra opinión en un pequeño debate al final de la sesión.

Gandhi.

En el primer trimestre empezamos a trabajar con el libro de Gandhi. Este libro cuenta la vida de Gandhi desde que nace hasta que muere. El libro es obligatorio y en inglés. Luego de leerlo debíamos hacer las actividades que se encontraban detrás de cada tema para luego corregirlas en clase.

Miércoles 23.

Este miércoles hemos corregido las preguntas sobre "The Golden Rule". También estuvimos comentando cuando se nos hace difícil cumplir la regla o en cuales casos está justificado no cumplirlas.
Cuando terminamos, nos pusimos a trabajar con un nuevo libro llamado "The Human Rights", el cual tenemos que leer para después hacer unas actividades. Este libro lo vamos a trabajar en la clase.

En esta sesión se continuó con la exposición de trabajos sobre artículos de periódicos, y los temas tratados fueron las revoluciones árabes, la generación XXX "niños atrapados por el sexo" y tóxico.

Noticia periódico (Voluntario)

En este trabajo, voluntario, debíamos escoger una noticia de un periódico no muy antiguo, hacer un resumen y exponerla delante de la clase. La noticia tenía que estar relacionada con la ética.

The Golden Rule

This session  Megan gave a few questions about The Golden Rule. The questions are:

1. What is the Golden Rule?
The Golden Rule is a maxim, ethical code, or morality that essentially states either of the fallowing: - One should theat others as one would like others to treat oneself (positive form) - One should not treat others in ways that one would not like to be treated (negative/ prohibite form, also called the Silver Rule)
2. Why is the Golden Rule important to discussing human right? Because the Golden Rule is arguably the most essential basis for the modern concept of human right.
3. In which culture can we find the Golden Rule? The Golden Rule was present in philosophers of ancient Babylon, Egypt, Persia, India, Greece, Judea and China..
4. Why do we have to respect the Golden Rule? Because if you don't respect the Golden Rule the people don't respect you.
5. Is it necessary to belong to religion in order to fallow  the Golden Rule? No, it isn't.

Elecciones al consejo escolar

Durante este trabajo hemos aprendido todo lo relacionado con las elecciones al consejo escolar en nuestro centro que estaban muy próximas.
Nos hemos basado en la página web del instituto en la que estaba toda la información necesaria; desde las leyes que rigen estas elecciones,la fecha y plazos, hasta los derechos y deberes del alumnado.

The European Union

In this class Jonny read a text about the European Union and he says a lot of information about her countries.
We learned a lot of thing, for example:

- The European Union was formed in 1952  but there ar a lot of countries that have entered later.

- The six original countries were belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands and Luxemburg.

- Spain joined the european Union in 1986.

After we made many exercises.

Human Rights for great apes?

In this work Megan read a text about the great apes in zoos and then we have done some exercises in the computer about the text.

The text speaks about the behavior of an great ape in a zoo when a boy gives him a bottle of water.

Also says that the apes are always the favorite attraction of the persons because they are very similar to us and that they are the relatives nearest to we.

Participation in the forum of the virtual classroom

In pairs we have to do one comment about the rights and obligations of the estudents.I did my comment with Ismael Ferrer and was this:


Comment of Ernesto and his partner.
We think that in general all students meet their obligations and their rights are respected, but there are students that don't fulfill their obligations and there are some rights of the students that we think that are not respected.
In all schools there are students who are interested in their studies and there are others who aren't interested in their studies.

Comment of Marina and her partner.
We think that the majority of students comply our obligations and our rights, but not all. As some do not want to come to school or do their homework.Some obligations are fulfill, but not others.Since we prefer to remain silent and not say what we think, if the teacher has a different opinion and he can catch dislikes we.

Expulsión de gitanos rumanos de Francia

Durante este trabajo realizamos doce preguntas relacionadas con dos noticias publicadas en la web respecto a este tema.

Lo que estaba sucediendo es que el gobierno francés estaba expulsando gitanos rumanos del país, lo que desató un conflicto entre este país y la Comisión Europea.

También realizamos un debate en clase en el que había personas que veían justa la expulsión de los gitanos rumanos y otras que no.Este debate se basó en la que era la pregunta más importante de todas: buscar argumentos a favor y en contra de lo que estaba sucediendo en Francia con los gitanos rumanos.
